Write a job description with AI
Use Generate with AI in a market scoping request to draft a job description when you don't have one. Covers content guidance, web search, stopping or regenerating the draft, and why the generate button is disabled.

No job description yet? HUB can draft one for your market scoping request. You can edit the draft before you submit.
Generate a job description
- Start a new request. See Create a market scoping request.
- Fill in Job Title (Optional) and Search Location under Role Details.
- Under Job Description, select Generate with AI.
- Optional: add Content guidance (optional), for example skills or work setup to emphasize.
- Optional: tick Enable web search. It pulls live market context, so it is slower but more accurate.
- Select Generate job description.
- Read the AI-generated job description and edit it in place.
Change or stop the draft
- Select Stop to end a draft that is still being written.
- Changed your guidance? Select Regenerate to apply it.
Warning: Regenerating replaces the current draft, including edits you made to it.
Why is Generate job description disabled?
You need a Job Title (Optional) and a Search Location first. HUB shows Add a Job Title and Search Location above to enable AI generation. until both are filled in.
Why can't I continue?
The job description can't be empty. If you see Job description is required, generate a draft or switch to Paste text.
