Understand invoice statuses and credits

What Paid, Pending, Overdue, Upcoming, and Cancelled mean on a HUB invoice, what Balance Due and Amount Due show, and how credit notes or credits applied reduce what you owe ("Settled with credits").

On this page

Each invoice shows a status next to its number and an amount card on the right.

What does each status mean?

Status Meaning
Upcoming The invoice is issued for a coming billing period.
Pending The invoice is due and not yet paid.
Overdue The due date has passed and the invoice is still unpaid.
Paid The invoice is fully settled.
Cancelled The invoice was voided. You don't need to pay it.

An Overdue invoice also shows how many days late it is.

What amount do I owe?

The amount card on the invoice tells you what's left to pay:

  • Amount Due or Balance Due: what you still owe on this invoice.
  • Upcoming Charge: the amount for an upcoming invoice.
  • Amount Paid: the total settled on a paid invoice.

To pay, see Pay an invoice.

How do credits reduce my invoice?

Credits on your account, such as credit notes, are applied to invoices before you pay. When credits are applied:

  • The invoice lists the credit notes used.
  • A paid invoice shows Settled with credits if credits covered it in full.
  • It shows Settled with payment & credits if you paid the rest by card. The payment summary then shows Cash paid and Credits applied.

The Invoices tab of a membership also shows your available credit balance, when you have one.

Where do I see how an invoice was paid?

Open a paid invoice. The Payment section shows the date and, when available, the Method, Reference, and Processor. If a status or amount looks wrong, email the billing team at billing@kmc.solutions with the invoice number.
